Pumpkin Spice and DIY Wedding Advice
The fall season has once again returned, bringing with it the hustle and bustle of wedding season. This time of year is undeniably busy, with a multitude of events and responsibilities demanding our attention. From getting the kids back to school to preparing for the upcoming holiday season, and now the whirlwind of wedding and engagement festivities, time seems to be in short supply. Needless to say, our calendars are filling up rapidly as we try to juggle all these commitments.
Just about every bride thinks for at least a second about doing their wedding themselves. Being a DIY Bride is more than a full-time job; it is a labor of love and dedication. I remember vividly those early days, sitting on my front room floor, surrounded by an enchanting display of twinkling fairy lights and delicate flowers. It was there that I poured countless hours into meticulously crafting each centerpiece, carefully gluing pinecones together with determination. The end results were nothing short of breathtaking; I was absolutely smitten. Despite the undeniable allure of creating these exquisite works of art, a lingering thought always persisted: was all of that time and effort truly worth the money saved? After all, the cost for the necessary supplies for these DIY projects had a tendency to accumulate, sometimes far exceeding the price of simply buying ready-made centerpieces. Yet, amidst the internal debate between practicality and passion, there remained a special kind of gratification that came from looking upon a finished project and knowing, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it had been made with one's own hands.
Now Iām a mother, spending my fall season with my little family, going to pumpkin patches and Trick or Treating. It really has been a beautiful road to get here and I love helping others who are along the same path.
